We
simply have the most interesting beach in all of Oregon. Elephant
Rock and the Needles enclose the beach, forming a large cove where
seals frolic and families can play without big waves. Great fishing
off these rocks, with dramatic wave action breaking over them. Biggest
and best tide pools you've ever seen, teeming with life. Delicious
littleneck clams to dig. Driftwood for shelters and cookouts. A
stream for dam building and youngsters' play. Great vistas north
and south. Whales stop to feed on the offshore shelf. Brilliant
sunsets. Seal Rock is full of artists and has several galleries,
plus the best Japanese restaurant in Oregon. Two historic lighthouses
are nearby.
Seal
Rocks RV Cove is not your typical park. We offer no concrete, just
lots of trees, shrubs, grass and privacy, plus great ocean views.
Enjoy tranquility and old-fashioned hospitality in a lovely natural
setting. Native rhododendron, huckleberry, salal and salmonberry
abound. It's small and intimate, so you'll feel right at home. Nearby
Newport has ocean fishing, great restaurants, an old fashioned waterfront,
a world class aquarium, fantastic local oysters, a postcard harbor
and bridge, and lots of fun things to do. Waldport offers abundant
Dungeness crabs in the bay and wonderful river fishing.
